Michelle Branch ||| 'The Spirit Room '

Michelle Branch is making her step onto the music scene with her album, 'The Spirit Room'. This 17 year old is different than most teens in music today.

Michelle's sound can be classified as pop rock. Her voice is soft and pretty; it's a nice addition to the unique beats. Her songs are mostly upbeat and very catchy. She has similarities to Melissa Ethridge and Sheryl Crow, though she is definitely doing her own thing.

Unlike other 17 year olds, Michelle Branch writes her own music, amazing music for someone that young. Lyrically, the songs are deeper and more meaningful the majority of ones on the radio today. It's difficult to pick out which songs stand out, because each track is good.

Michelle is like a breath of fresh air coming into music. She is proving that you don't need to be older to have a more mature sound. With the quality of this album, Michelle Branch is someone we will be hearing about in the future. Pick up The Spirit Room, which hits stores August 14th.
